Winter is the time when most of the people head south, searching or looking out for some warmer destinations. However many prefer the coastal areas which provide them with some warmth and relaxation. There are many such destinations or tourist sites, which allow you to enjoy some warm sun and dry sand, if you are don't intend spending your winter sitting besides the fire.
The Antiqua or the Barbuda beaches are some of the best beaches in Cyprus incase one desires to try their hands on water sports like water skiing or wave surfing. These beaches make things possible when it comes to trying on your architectural skills, when building sand castles instead of making the snowman. More over there are many other destinations that are worth seeing, besides the water sports or the scuba diving. Usually most of the winter months according to the Cyprus Calendar, starting from November to February are considered as dull and low, since it's pretty calm with most of the hotels and restaurants, remaining vacant all throughout this season. But this could be the time when you could book your favorite hotel along with your flight tickets. Moreover the Cyprus ministry of tourism offers many discounts and tax holidays during this floppy time.
However there are many winter packages which are usually affordable and include some affordable rent in case you hire a hotel or a villa. Moreover the rates are quiet economical and discounted which is almost half the price, as compared to the rest of the season. Moreover the flights are also affordable, since they offer discounted prices because very few travel during the winters.
Cyprus seems to be one of those popular destinations that most of the tourists go exploring during peak winters. However there may be some possibilities of heavy showers during the winters, but it mostly rains at night. So the daytime is usually cloudy and warmer as compared to the night which turns out chilly sometimes.
Cyprus offers fresh green landscape and mountains which are just the opposite during most of the winters, because of the dry grass and the barren trees. These are simply enough to spoil your attitude and feelings in case you are an outdoor lover. |
