Even before you start playing golf, one of the most crucial aspects is to select an appropriate golf club for yourself. There are basically three types of golf clubs that are used by all the golf players. Each of these golf clubs is designed for a special or particular golf shot and also for a particular distance. " The woods: Woods are the long golf clubs which give little loft to the balls and thus helps the ball to cover more distance. The woods golf club consists of the driver (1 wood-220 yards) and also the fairway woods viz. the three woods (200 yards) and the five woods (180 yards).
" The irons: These are used for shorter distances and accurate shots. The irons consist of the irons 3-9 viz. the sand wedge and the pitching wedge (for the shots from the bunkers).
" The putters: Putters are mainly used to put the golf ball into the final hole. They are generally either the blade putters or the mallet putters. According to the experts, it is better to just play with just one putter and get more comfortable with it instead of experimenting with the others.
Also one new type has been created called the hybrids or the rescue clubs which are smoother to use than the long irons.
Now that you know about the golf clubs, you should look at all the possibilities and required features about the golf clubs and then start narrowing down your choice to select the best one for you. You should make sure that the golf club you are buying is branded or perhaps is a proper clone of the good golf clubs and should be bought from a legal vendor and not some illegal cloner so that it is properly balanced and works properly.
