Are text and data limits with your current wireless service plan emptying your wallet? Why not consider a shared family plan or an unlimited family plan for your cellular communication needs to prevent unexpected charges on your cell phone bill?
Today, wireless data communication is becoming as prevalent as wireless talking communications. A shared cell phone plan, such as Sprint’s Everything Data Family Plan, can save a considerable amount of money every month compared to other plans. The Simply Everything plan includes unlimited data usage for applications like web surfing, email, Blackberry internet services, GPS navigation, Music Premier, TV Premier, NFL Mobile Live and Nascar Sprint Mobile SM. It also includes unlimited text, pictures and videos, unlimited mobile to mobile, early night calling (starting at 7p.m.), free weekends, nationwide long distance and no roaming charges.
The same plan for an individual line and 450 cellular phone calling minutes (300 minutes less per phone than the family plan) can cost around $69.99 per month with other carriers. Two lines would cost ten dollars more per month and have 300 less available minutes than a shared cell phone plan. You could also add two more lines, with all the same capabilities and an additional 1500 minutes, for only $40.00 dollars more per month. This is where the real savings show up. Four individual lines would cost $280.00 per month while a shared family plan would cost only $169.99 per month for the same services.
If you need a plan that includes unlimited cellular phone communication, a shared family plan can save money as well. Four individual unlimited everything plans would cost $400.00 per month while a shared 4-line plan would cost $380.00, a savings of $20.00 per month or $240.00 per year. The main advantages of an unlimited family plan are that you don’t have to worry about keeping track of your family’s talk, texting or data usage. Unlimited plans give you peace of mind because you can rest assured that your bill will be the same every month.
Whether your needs are more focused on wireless data plans or unlimited everything plans, the money saving opportunities of shared or family plans must be considered when choosing your cellular phone plans.
